Why this is my most successful image

I think this is my most successful image because I feel that this image perfectly portrays monochromatic colors. When I first looked out my window and saw the snow, I instantly wanted to take a picture. I thought with the tire tracks and footprints, it looked very interesting. I later realized that it was the perfect depiction of what a monochromatic photograph should look like. This is my favorite picture because I feel that it almost looks edited with the color scheme, but it is really just happened to be a natural palate composed of one color.

Most challenging aspect of this assignment

The most challenging part of this assignment was the lighting section. I found it a little tough to figure out which lighting was being portrayed for certain objects, and after rewatching the lectures, I found that most of my pictures had the same kinds of lighting. But after taking more pictures, I found it a little easier to depict the different lightings.

What will I do in the future to create stronger images:

In the future I will plan out what my pictures will look like before I take them. I also plan on using the aspects that I learned from this assignment to make my photographs look more professional and interesting.

Part 2:

Hi Yamini, I really like this picture as well. The colorful light to enhance a simple object demonstrates creativity and the simplicity of the subject matter paired with the added element draws a lot of attention to the picture. My favorite part is how the back light is still a different color, and it just overall looks very interesting. The light in this photo makes the color bright and makes the Jarritos a little cloudy, which is really cool. I really liked all your pictures for the black and white/color portion of the project. I feel like you really portrayed a variety of colors in this section, and they definitely stand out a lot.

Hi Angelina, I love the contrast between the snow and pavement in this photograph! Between the foot and car imprints in the snow, the house to the right, cars, and the building, there is so much to look at. This photograph reminds me of when I was younger and had a playground in my backyard. When it snowed my friends and I would gather in my backyard to mess around. Later on I would look back out my window to look at all the mysterious patterns of footprints in the snow. This image is really heartwarming. In addition I think it could benefit from being more focused on one subject. For example, maybe the photo could focus on the foot…

This is an amazing image! The main thing that made me so drawn to this image is the tire tracks. This image is an amazing example of monochromatic colors as you stated above. The tire tracks almost look perfectly symmetrical and that is a very cool aspect. I feel like this image almost tells a story of a snow day. The foot prints walking to the car and the cars tracks pulling out. You caught this at the perfect angle at a high point. The color and contrast of this image keep the attention on the monochromatic colors. It highlights the small details like the tracks and foot prints in the snow. Another thing that caught my eye was that…

I love this photograph! I think it is a perfect example of monochromatic colors. I think the angle of the photo allows you to see the complexity of this photo, as there is a lot to look at, from the footprints, to the tire tracks, to the house and cars, and even the bushes. There is a lot of detail in this photo, and I think you captured it great! My only suggestion is to crop the image, from the top and bottom, to get rid of the building in the back and the driveway, in order to focus more on what is happening in the middle, where the snow is more prominent. Other than that, I think the exposure…

I think that this is a really cool photograph! Like you said, it is a great example of a monochromatic color scheme. There is a lot to look at in this photo and I think that the high angle perspective definitely adds to the shot. The fallen snow helps evoke a tranquil mood, while the tire tracks and footsteps make the scene a bit more interesting. I think my only suggestion would be to crop the image to just below the green car in order to take the background color out; I think it would help make the photo a bit more intense and effective. Overall, I really like this picture!
